Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications - Prague, Czech Republic

📋 Description

• Lead design and development of Windows desktop apps (WinUI, C#, XAML, C++)
• Define and enforce Windows desktop best practices: architecture, performance, memory
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation, focus management, keyboard navigation, screen readers
• Collaborate with designers/UX researchers/QA to shape feature plans and roadmap
• Own feature lifecycle from conception to release and maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Windows desktop development using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML; C++ a plus
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and interop between .NET and native code
• Proven track record shipping reliable, production desktop apps with strong performance
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive software
• Solid fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, memory management, multi-threading
• Experience leading technical design, mentoring engineers, code reviews, and architecture decisions
