Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications - Paris, France

📋 Description

• Lead design and development of Windows desktop apps using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML.
• Define and enforce Windows desktop best practices across the codebase.
• Drive accessibility with UI Automation; ensure focus, keyboard nav, screen readers.
• Collaborate with designers, UX researchers, and QA on feature planning and roadmap.
• Own features from conception to release and maintenance.
• Identify and fix complex bugs, perf bottlenecks, memory leaks, rendering issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ yrs Windows desktop dev using Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; C++/Win32/WinRT/COM preferred.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture; interop.NET and native code.
• Proven track record delivering production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive design.
• Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, memory management, async/multithreading.
• Experience leading technical design, mentoring engineers, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
