📋 Description

• Lead design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop apps using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and C++ when needed.
• Define/enforce best practices for Windows desktop dev: architecture, performance, memory, responsive UI, cross-version compatibility (Win10/11+), maintainability.
• Drive accessibility: integrate/validate accessibility APIs (UI Automation), ensure controls, focus, keyboard navigation, screen readers, usability for users with disabilities.
• Collaborate with product, UX, QA, and stakeholders to shape feature planning and long-term Windows roadmap.
• Own full feature lifecycle from conception to maintenance; ensure quality, reliability, and consistency.
• Identify and resolve complex bugs, bottlenecks, memory leaks, rendering issues, or compatibility problems; propose robust design solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; plus C++.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture, including interop between .NET and native code.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive software.
• Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, multithreading/async.
• Experience leading design, mentoring, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Strong communication; articulate tradeoffs and drive cross-functional alignment.
• User-centric mindset; build polished, accessible end-user experiences.
