📋 Description

  • Lead design and development of Windows desktop apps (WinUI, C#, XAML, C++ when needed).
  • Define and enforce best practices for Windows desktop: architecture, performance, memory, UI, compatibility.
  • Drive accessibility: UI Automation, focus, keyboard navigation, screen readers.
  • Collaborate with designers, QA, and product for roadmap and UI/UX.
  • Own features end-to-end from concept to maintenance.
  • Identify and fix complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and rendering issues.

🎯 Requirements

  • 3+ years in Windows desktop development using Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; C++ a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and interop between .NET and native code.
  • Proven track record shipping production Windows apps with reliability and performance.
  • Strong accessibility API experience (MS UI Automation) and inclusive software.
  • Solid fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, memory, multithreading.
  • Experience leading design, mentoring, code reviews, architecture decisions.
  • Strong communication; able to trade off and drive consensus.
  • User-centric mindset focused on polished, accessible UX.
