Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead design and development of Windows desktop apps using Windows App SDK and C#.
• Define and enforce best practices for architecture, performance, and UI.
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation, keyboard nav, and screen readers.
• Collaborate with product designers, UX researchers, QA, and teammates.
• Own full lifecycle from conception to release and maintenance.
• Identify and fix complex bugs, bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ yrs Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML; native code a plus.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and interop between .NET and native code.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive software.
• Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management.
• Experience leading design, mentoring, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
