Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead Windows desktop apps using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, and XAML.
• Define best practices for Windows desktop development (architecture, performance, memory).
• Drive accessibility: implement UI Automation and screen-reader support.
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and product to shape feature plans.
• Own feature lifecycle from concept to release and maintenance.
• Diagnose and fix bugs, bottlenecks, leaks, and rendering issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Windows desktop development with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML; C++ a plus.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and .NET/native interop.
• Proven track record shipping production Windows apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive software.
• Solid fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory and concurrency.
• Experience leading technical design, mentoring, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
