📋 Description

  • Lead design, architecture, and development of Windows desktop apps (WinUI, C#, XAML, C++ when needed).
  • Define Windows app best practices: architecture, performance, memory, responsive UI.
  • Drive accessibility: UI Automation, focus management, keyboard navigation, screen readers.
  • Collaborate with design/QA to shape feature plans and long-term Windows roadmap.
  • Own full feature lifecycles from conception to release and maintenance.
  • Identify and fix bugs, performance, memory, rendering, and compatibility issues.

🎯 Requirements

  • 3+ years Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; plus C++/Win32.
  • Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and .NET/native interop.
  • Proven track record delivering production-quality desktop apps with reliability and maintainability.
  • Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and accessible software.
  • Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, threading/async.
  • Experience leading design, mentoring, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
  • Strong communication; articulate tradeoffs and drive cross-functional consensus.
  • User-centric mindset; build polished, intuitive, accessible experiences.
