Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead Windows desktop app design with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and C++ as needed.
• Define and enforce Windows desktop best practices: architecture, performance, memory, UI, compatibility.
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation, focus, keyboard, and screen readers.
• Collaborate with design, UX, QA, and teams to shape feature planning and roadmap.
• Own full feature lifecycle from conception to maintenance.
• Diagnose and fix complex bugs, bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML; C++ preferred.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and .NET/native interop.
• Proven track record shipping production Windows apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive software.
• Strong fundamentals in OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory, and async.
• Experience leading technical design, mentoring engineers, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
