Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead design, architecture, and development of Windows desktop apps (WinUI, C#, XAML).
• Set and enforce Windows desktop best practices: architecture, performance, memory, UI, compatibility.
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation, keyboard focus, screen-reader support.
• Collaborate with product designers, UX researchers, QA to shape feature planning and roadmap.
• Own full lifecycle: conception to maintenance; ensure quality and reliability.
• Identify and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and rendering issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Windows desktop dev using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML; C++ experience a plus.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and interop between .NET and native code.
• Proven track record shipping production Windows desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive software.
• Solid fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, multithreading.
• Experience leading technical design, mentoring engineers, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
