Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead Windows desktop apps using Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; C++ when needed.
\n
• Define and enforce Windows desktop best practices: architecture, performance, memory, responsive UI, cross-version support.
\n
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation, focus management, keyboard navigation, screen readers.
\n
• Collaborate with designers, UX researchers, QA and stakeholders to shape feature planning and roadmap for Windows.
\n
• Own full lifecycle of features from concept to maintenance; ensure quality and reliability.
\n
• Identify and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, rendering issues, and compatibility problems.
\n

🎯 Requirements

\n
• 3+ years Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; C++/Win32/WinRT/COM a plus.
\n
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and .NET/native interop.
\n
• Proven track record shipping production Windows apps with reliability and performance.
\n
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation).
\n
• Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, multithreading.
\n
• Experience leading design, mentoring, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
\n
