Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead Windows desktop app design/architecture using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and C++.
• Define/enforce Windows desktop best practices: architecture, performance, memory, UI, compatibility.
• Drive accessibility: ensure UI Automation support, focus, keyboard navigation, screen readers.
• Collaborate with designers, UX researchers, QA to plan features and long-term roadmap.
• Own feature lifecycle from conception to release and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, rendering issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; native Windows (C++, Win32/WinRT/COM) preferred.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and .NET/native interop.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive software.
• Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, multithreading/async.
• Experience leading design, mentoring engineers, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
