Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead Windows desktop app design with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and C++.
• Define desktop best practices: architecture, performance, memory, UI, compatibility.
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation, focus management, keyboard navigation, screen readers.
• Collaborate with designers, UX, QA to shape feature planning and roadmap.
• Own full feature lifecycle from conception to release and maintenance.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, memory leaks, rendering problems.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years Windows desktop app dev with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML; native C++ a plus.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and .NET-native interop.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive software.
• Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, memory mgmt, multithreading.
• Experience leading technical design, mentorship, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
