📋 Description

  • Lead the design and development of Windows desktop apps (WinUI, C#, XAML, C++).
  • Define/enforce Windows desktop best practices: architecture, performance, memory.
  • Drive accessibility: UI Automation, focus, keyboard nav, screen readers.
  • Collaborate with designers, QA, and stakeholders on feature planning and roadmap.
  • Own full feature lifecycle from conception to maintenance; ensure quality.
  • Diagnose bugs, perf bottlenecks, memory leaks, and rendering issues.

🎯 Requirements

  • 3+ years in Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; native C++/Win32/WinRT/COM preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and .NET/native interop.
  • Proven track record shipping production desktop apps; reliability and performance.
  • Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation).
  • Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, memory management, multithreading.
  • Experience leading design, mentoring engineers, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
  • Strong communication; articulate tradeoffs, cross-functional collaboration, and consensus.
  • User-centric mindset: polished, accessible UX.
