Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead design and development of native Windows desktop apps with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML.
• Define and enforce Windows desktop best practices: architecture, performance, memory, responsive UI, maintainability.
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation support, focus management, keyboard navigation, screen readers.
• Collaborate with designers, UX researchers, and QA to shape feature planning and Windows roadmap.
• Own full feature lifecycle from conception to release and maintenance; ensure quality and reliability.
• Identify and fix complex bugs, bottlenecks, memory leaks, rendering, or compatibility issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Windows desktop development with Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; C++ exposure.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture; .NET and native interop.
• Proven track record shipping production-quality desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive software.
• Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, memory management, multithreading.
• Experience leading design, mentoring, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
