Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead design and development of Windows desktop apps (WinUI, Windows App SDK).
• Define best practices for architecture, performance, memory, and maintainability.
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation, keyboard navigation, screen readers.
• Collaborate with design, UX researchers, QA, and product to shape roadmap.
• Own features end-to-end from conception to release and maintenance.
• Diagnose complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ yrs Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; C++ preferred.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and interop .NET/native.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation).
• OOP, design patterns, data structures, memory management, multithreading.
• Leading technical design, mentoring, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Strong communication, able to articulate tradeoffs, and collaborate cross-functionally.
• User-centric mindset focused on polished, accessible user experiences.
