Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead design and development of Windows desktop apps with Windows App SDK and WinUI.
• Define and enforce best practices for architecture, performance, memory, and UI.
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation, focus management, and screen readers.
• Collaborate with designers, researchers, and QA to shape Windows roadmap.
• Own full lifecycle of features from conception to release and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues; propose robust solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and interop (.NET ↔ native).
• Proven track record delivering production Windows desktop apps with reliability.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation).
• Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, memory, multi-threading.
• Experience leading design, mentoring engineers, and code reviews.
• Excellent communication; articulate tradeoffs and drive consensus.
• User-centric mindset for polished, accessible experiences.
