Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead native Windows desktop app development with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, and XAML.
• Define and enforce architecture, performance, memory, and cross-version compatibility.
• Drive accessibility efforts: UI Automation, keyboard focus, screen reader support.
• Collaborate with product designers, UX researchers, QA, and stakeholders on feature planning.
• Own full lifecycle of features from conception to release and maintenance.
• Diagnose and fix complex bugs, bottlenecks, and rendering issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML; C++ a plus.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and interop between managed and native code.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and accessible software.
• Solid fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory, async.
• Experience leading design, mentoring, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Strong communication; able to trade off, collaborate cross-functionally, and build consensus.
• User-centric mindset with polished, intuitive, accessible UX.
