Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead design/architecture of Windows desktop apps using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, with C++ when needed.
• Define and enforce Windows desktop best practices: architecture, performance, memory, accessibility.
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation, focus management, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support.
• Collaborate with designers/QA to shape feature planning and roadmap.
• Own full feature lifecycle from conception to release and maintenance.
• Diagnose bugs and bottlenecks; propose robust architectural solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years Windows desktop dev using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML; native C++ a plus.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture, including interop between .NET and native code.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with reliability, performance, scalability.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UIA) and accessible software.
• Strong OOP/design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory, and multi-threading.
• Lead technical design; mentor engineers; code reviews; cross-functional communication; user-centric.
