Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead design and development of Windows desktop apps with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, and XAML.
• Define best practices for architecture, performance, memory, and responsive UI.
• Drive accessibility: implement UI Automation and related accessibility features.
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and stakeholders to shape feature planning for Windows.
• Own full lifecycle of features from conception to release and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve complex bugs and rendering or performance issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML; C++ a plus.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and .NET–native interop.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation).
• Excellent fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, multithreading.
• Experience mentoring, code reviews, and architecture-level decisions.
• Strong communication; ability to articulate tradeoffs and drive consensus.
• User-centric mindset for polished, accessible end-user experiences.
