Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead design and development of native Windows desktop apps using Windows App SDK and WinUI.
• Define best practices for Windows desktop code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation, focus, keyboard navigation, screen readers.
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and stakeholders on feature planning and UI architecture.
• Own full lifecycle of features from concept to release and maintenance.
• Identify and fix complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Windows desktop app dev with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and .NET/native interop.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with reliability and performance focus.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation).
• Solid fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, memory management, multi-threading.
• Experience leading design, mentoring engineers, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Excellent communication; ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive consensus.
• A user-centric mindset for polished, accessible end-user experiences.
