Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead Windows desktop app development with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, and XAML.
• Define best practices for architecture, performance, memory, and cross version compatibility.
• Drive accessibility: UI Automation, focus management, keyboard navigation, screen readers.
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and product to plan features and UI/UX roadmap.
• Own full feature lifecycle from conception to release and maintenance.
• Identify and fix complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Windows desktop dev with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML; C++/Win32 preferred.
• Strong understanding of Windows app architecture and interop between .NET and native code.
• Proven track record delivering production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive software.
• Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, memory, multi-threading/async.
• Experience leading design, mentoring, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• User-centric mindset focused on polished, accessible UX.
