Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

📋 Description

• Lead design and development of Windows desktop apps using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML (C++ optional).
• Define best practices for Windows desktop dev: architecture, perf, memory, responsive UI, cross-version support.
• Drive accessibility: integrate UI Automation and ensure focus, keyboard navigation, and screen readers.
• Collaborate with designers, UX researchers, QA to shape features and roadmap for Windows.
• Own full feature lifecycle: conception → design → implementation → testing → release → maintenance.
• Identify and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, memory issues; propose robust solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Windows desktop development using Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; native Windows code (C++, Win32/WinRT/COM) a plus.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and interop between .NET and native code.
• Proven track record delivering production-quality desktop apps with reliability, performance, maintainability, and user-centric design.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation) and inclusive software.
• Excellent fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, async/multi-threading.
• Experience leading design, mentoring engineers, code reviews, and architecture decisions; strong communication.
