Lead design and implement new platform components from the ground up
Design scalable services with reliability, observability, operability and efficiency
Work with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, BigTable, Elasticsearch, Spark and Istio
Mentor engineers and contribute to team growth
Strengthen engineering processes, culture, learning, and blameless retrospection
Participate in on-call rotation and triage issues

🎯 Requirements

Proficiency in Java, Scala, or C++
BS+ degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Proficiency with distributed systems
5+ years of industry experience
Familiarity with Elasticsearch/Solr/Lucene or other information retrieval systems
Experience deploying and operating Microservices on Kubernetes
