Senior Software Engineer, Product Foundations

📋 Description

• Develop new platform capabilities from design through release
• Balance speed to market with long-term growth; design for today and horizon
• Partner with Product to define initiatives and a quarterly roadmap
• Ensure system availability; participate in on-call and incident response
• Mentor engineers on the team and across the organization
• Play an active role in continuous engineering improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years backend development; strong Ruby (preferred), Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript
• CS fundamentals: relational/non-relational databases, data structures, algorithms, REST APIs
• Experience with domain modeling, object design, and system architecture
• Proven track record of clear, tested, concise code
• Ability to estimate work and inform decisions
• Ability to write and review technical proposals with trade-offs
