Architect and build backend systems end-to-end (DB to APIs)
Partner with Infra and SRE on reliability and production health
Drive platform-level initiatives like data ingestion and third-party integrations
Own incident response and post-mortems; ensure same issues don't recur
Mentor and multiply the team; raise the bar for how we build and operate systems

🎯 Requirements

8+ years of production software engineering experience
Node.js (TypeScript preferred)
Data systems expertise: relational databases and analytical databases
Cloud expertise: public cloud, scalability, cost considerations
Observability
Nice to have: high-throughput data pipelines or event-driven systems
