Design, build, test, and maintain a scalable event-driven billing service.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver billing capabilities.
Implement metering, rating, aggregation, and reconciliation logic.
Drive improvements on billing reliability, accuracy, performance, and cost.
Troubleshoot and support production, including on-call rotations.

🎯 Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience.
3+ years of Java backend development, with Spring Boot.
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; Master's is a plus.
Strong CS fundamentals in design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and event-driven services.
Experience with messaging systems (Pub/Sub, Kafka) and idempotent processing semantics.
