Senior Software Engineer II (AI-Native), Circle Expansion

📋 Description

• Design and build APIs/services for aging parents and community groups.
• Collaborate with AI (Claude Code) to generate specs, code, tests, and reviews.
• Define and codify AI-Native engineering practices for Circle Expansion.
• Build across the full stack to ship polished, scalable experiences for millions.
• Partner with product and design to turn complex problems into scalable solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating high-quality, consumer-scale services.
• 2+ years hands-on experience prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs.
• Strong proficiency in cloud development using modern Java, Kubernetes, AWS and streaming technologies.
• Deep experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context window management, and MCP/function calling.
• A track record of using AI tooling to multiply output, not just autocomplete.
• A genuine excitement for defining what it means to be AI-Native — you’re not waiting for the playbook.
