- Build frontend heavy experiences with React/Next.js on high traffic surfaces.
- Own backend changes end to end for customer flows, APIs, and eligibility.
- Own large user facing features across web and backend services.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to shape scope and tradeoffs.
- Deprecate outdated functionality to reduce technical debt and simplify systems.
- Build intuitive APIs to manipulate user data such as preferences, reviews, and referrals.
🎯 Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong ReactJS and TypeScript UI experience (Next.js a plus).
- Knowledge of best practices, design patterns, and system architecture tradeoffs.
- Comfortable owning backend work for user facing features (Node/Java/Kotlin based services, APIs, data flows).
- Knowledge of MVC, REST, Swagger/OpenAPI patterns.
- Cloud migration experience for consumer facing apps and data stores.
