- Collaborate with the AI Tools squad to implement AI features (Logo maker, AI Images, AI Videos).
- Design and architect new features by chaining internal and external services to generate images and videos.
- Monitor and scale FastAPI load; use Datadog to identify bottlenecks and cache steps.
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years of production Python and FastAPI experience (async).
- Experience designing/updating internal REST APIs at scale; monitor performance with Datadog.
- Strong understanding of FastAPI or similar async Python HTTP framework.
- Keep async non-blocking; identify blocking calls and offload CPU work.
- Experience with integration testing and wiring multiple external services.
- Startup experience with high autonomy and end-to-end ownership; bonus: AI APIs in production.
