Improve production services processing millions of enforcement decisions daily; on-call 24/7.
Apply adversarial thinking to anticipate abuse, edge cases, and system vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with Trust & Safety, Policy, ML, Data Science, and Legal on enforcement changes.
Define and baseline enforcement metrics with Data Science (recidivism, over-enforcement, churn).

🎯 Requirements

4+ years of backend software engineering experience with infrastructure focus.
Strong Python programming.
Distributed systems experience at scale (GCP, PostgreSQL, Redis, Pub/Sub, gRPC).
Own end-to-end projects and deliver on time, even in ambiguity; 24/7 on-call rotations.
Excellent collaboration and communication across Trust & Safety, Policy, Legal, or Operations.
Experience using Gen AI (e.g., Claude Code) in daily workflow.
