• Experience as a Senior IC: lead design, mentor, and scope cross-functional work.
• Deep understanding of Elasticsearch internals and their impact on performance.
• Designing and tuning mappings, analyzers, and tokenizers for search relevance.
• Optimize queries and avoid expensive script-based operations.
• Hands-on production ops: index lifecycle, shard allocation, monitoring, recovery.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and Elasticsearch behavior under load.
