Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate self-serve ETL/ELT for batch and streaming workloads.
• Own pipeline reliability, data quality SLAs, and schema evolution.
• Define data platform roadmap; build-vs-buy decisions and standards.
• Lead data contracts; onboard new data domains; scale ingestion with governance.
• Architect data lineage, schema registry, and access controls for fintech compliance.
• Own the platform: monitor, alert, debug, and resolve incidents.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building and operating production data infrastructure.
• Strong system design skills with documented trade-offs.
• Metrics-driven with visibility for partner teams.
• Proficiency in Python or Java/Kotlin; emphasis on testing and maintainability.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses and orchestration tools.
• Regulated-environment experience with data governance and audits.
