Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs.
• Develop production-grade Python services with clean API contracts.
• Expose modeled data via APIs for downstream consumers.
• Build internal tooling to self-serve data without SQL.
• Participate in code reviews and system design discussions.
• Improve service observability: logging, metrics, alerts.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Python proficiency with backend services and REST APIs
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar
• Solid SQL skills and Snowflake data warehouse
• Production APIs with authentication, versioning, and error handling
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and reliability
• Ship reliable, well-tested services in production
