Senior Software Engineer, Data Center Infrastructure Tooling

📋 Description

• Design and own data layer, APIs, and services for tooling.
• Model datacenter infra physically and logically for planning.
• Build a high-performance internal platform for infra teams across sites.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver rich UX on backends.
• Own deployment, scalability, redundancy, and monitoring.
• Go-based services with gRPC/GraphQL/REST and DB integrations.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Go; write performant, well-structured services.
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL and CockroachDB; indexing and schema design.
• Design and build APIs with gRPC/GraphQL/REST; type-safety, pagination, caching.
• Backend performance optimization: query tuning, pooling, caching, profiling.
• Authentication/authorization and security best practices for internal tooling.
• Own deployment and operations: Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, incident response.
