Senior Software Engineer, Banking

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain foundational banking services and APIs.
• Own core primitives: accounts, transactions, ledgers, and money movement.
• Build reliable integrations with banking partners and networks (ACH, wires).
• Define and enforce contracts, data models, and interfaces for other teams.
• Improve reliability, observability, and performance of banking infrastructure at scale.
• Mentor engineers building on top of your platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years building backend or full-stack apps focused on platforms.
• Deep experience designing APIs, services, and abstractions for other teams.
• Strong background in financial systems, payments, ledgers, or banking integrations.
• Audit-ready outputs; accuracy and verifiability over 'close enough'.
• Model complex business domains in relational databases with precision.
• Experience owning foundational components with contracts, versioning, reliability.
