Senior Software Engineer, Apple

📋 Description

• Hybrid role in San Francisco; in-office Tue, Wed, Thu.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and project managers to implement new features for iOS and Apple TV apps.
• Coordinate with the engineering manager on technical designs and decisions.
• Coordinate with multiple teams and manage dependencies.
• Ensure code is delivered on time and tasks are completed promptly.
• Maintain code quality via rigorous reviews and test coverage.
• Work with the engineering manager to develop a testing pyramid.
• Collaborate with engineers to level up skills.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with Swift/SwiftUI.
• Proven track record with iOS/iPadOS apps, games, or utilities.
• Familiarity with MVVM architecture in iOS.
• Hands-on experience with XCTest or Quick/Nimble and testing for code changes.
• Strong commitment to code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Experience optimizing for memory and performance in multi-threaded environments.
• Cross-collaborative, results-driven and delivery-oriented.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and networking.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
