Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop new features for Kafka control plane systems
• Support production to meet availability and performance goals
• Collaborate to innovate resource management for customers
• Drive end-to-end design and execution of complex projects
• Represent team in cross-functional design/architecture meetings
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers

🎯 Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of distributed systems, query and stream processing
• Strong background in distributed storage systems or databases
• Experience/knowledge with public clouds (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in teams
• Proficiency in Java, Scala or other statically typed languages
