📋 Description

• Maintain auditable accountability for all prototypes.
• Manage a secure prototype library and check-in/check-out workflows.
• Enforce access control for approved OpenAI personnel.
• Coordinate domestic and international prototype logistics.
• Support engineering with prototype builds, testing, iterations, returns.
• Conduct routine and ad-hoc inventory audits and reconciliations.
• Maintain records, logs, and reporting on prototype status and access history.
• Identify operational risks and escalate to the Senior Specialist.
• Support incident response for lost, damaged, or compromised devices.
• Execute established security procedures and contribute process improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years in secure logistics or hardware operations.
• Hands-on experience managing sensitive/high-value hardware across teams/locations.
• Accountable for inventory accuracy and chain-of-custody integrity.
• Sound judgment, discretion, and reliability handling confidential materials.
• Experienced with asset tracking systems, audits, and operational documentation.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with engineers, security, and ops.
• Comfortable traveling internationally in high-trust environments.
