Senior Security Engineer I, Vulnerability Management

📋 Description

• Perform hands-on vulnerability triage and risk assessment using team playbooks
• Track remediation progress with owners, escalate blockers, ensure closure
• Validate automated triage outputs and improve signal quality
• Contribute to automated remediation campaigns (EOL cleanup, upgrades, verification)
• Support zero-day/embargo response by inventorying assets and statuses
• Participate in incident investigations and on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in vulnerability management, security operations, or related security engineering
• Strong understanding of CVSS, exploitability, risk prioritization
• Hands-on with vulnerability management platforms (Wiz, Rapid7, Qualys, Tenable)
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation
• Cloud security concepts (AWS, GCP, Azure) and common infra vulnerabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
