Senior Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Embed within a product engineering team to shape product security.
• Influence architecture and design to ensure security from the outset.
• Partner with Product, Platform, and InfoSec to build secure-by-default systems.
• Contribute code, reviews, and guidance where security expertise is required.
• Act as a security advocate balancing risk, usability and delivery.
• Read, review and write production code when security demands it.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience securing modern software systems.
• Strong understanding of secure software architecture, threat modelling.
• Deep familiarity with cloud-native architectures and AWS security controls.
• Experience designing systems handling sensitive or regulated data.
• Comfortable reading, reviewing and writing production code, ideally Python.
• Familiar with security considerations of PostgreSQL.
