Senior RF Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and develop RF subsystems for satellite comms, navigation, or RF monitoring.
• Component selection and circuit design using Altium; CST/ADS sims for UHF, S-/X-/Ka bands.
• Manage RF modules through production and test.
• RF module bench, EMC and thermal vacuum testing, and spacecraft-level validation.
• Lead RF testing, validation, and space qualification.
• Develop test plans and procedures; provide consultancy to software, payloads, and ops.

🎯 Requirements

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Telecommunications, Microwave or RF Electronics Engineering
• 5+ years designing, developing and testing RF systems
• Hands-on RF simulation, design and fault-finding during tests
• PCB schematic capture and layout for RF circuits
• Lab or field RF testing with Network Analyzer, Signal Analyzer, Signal Generator
• Measure passive/active circuit performance; phase noise, losses, analysis
• Tune RF circuits for optimal performance
• Proficient in ADS, CST, HFSS, MATLAB
• Proven teamwork and cooperation
• Problem-solving and solution-oriented approach
• Flexible to shifting priorities and requirements
• Attention to detail; highly organized with clear communication
• Proficiency in scripting languages and testing tools (Python preferred)
