Senior Revenue Accountant

📋 Description

• Understand end-to-end order-to-cash and revenue recognition.
• Perform monthly/quarterly reviews to ensure revenue and COGS accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue, and cost accounting.
• Collaborate with Sales, PS, Ops, FP&A, and IT on proper accounting.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close, including reconciliations.
• Ensure internal controls and key SOX documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, revenue accounting preferred
• Experience in a SaaS/tech/services environment is a plus
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
