Senior Python Core Engineer

📋 Description

• Own Python version standards, upgrade cadence, and patching.
• Design safe, repeatable Python upgrade processes across services.
• Establish dependency management practices (locking and upgrades).
• Partner with CI/CD to improve Python build performance and developer experience.
• Maintain internal Python libraries (roadmap, quality, adoption).
• Define Python best practices and support teams through documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering with Python in production.
• Strong experience with Python build tooling and versioning.
• Understanding async and sync data-sharing patterns.
• Solid knowledge of containerized environments, builds, and Docker.
• Experience building and maintaining shared libraries and API design.
• On-call rotation and incident response readiness.
