Lead technical initiatives across Python/Django services (design, rollout, deprecation)
Drive platform reliability: DB upgrades, indexing, caching, migrations
Ship high-impact product work: pricing integrations and compliance flows
Define engineering standards: ADRs, tests, observability, and PRs
Operate production systems: incident response and fast stabilization

🎯 Requirements

Senior back-end with end-to-end ownership across API and UI
Strong Python and Django (or Java/JVM + Python prod)
PostgreSQL expertise: schemas, migrations, indexing, latency fixes
Distributed systems: async jobs, events, idempotency
Production mindset: on-call, incident response, stability under load
Technical leadership without title: migrations/architecture, mentoring
