Senior Propulsion Technician

📋 Description

• Build and maintain test facility including GSE, propellant, high-pressure and cryogenic systems
• Work with engineers to build, test, and maintain fluid systems
• Perform cold flows, hot-fire tests, and other hazardous operations on the test pad
• Troubleshoot and maintain fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Build and maintain rocket thrusters and other test articles
• Operate heavy machinery and overhead equipment and conduct field test ops

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of experience working in a production, mechanical, or manufacturing environment
• Read & Understand Plumbing and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Experience building and testing high pressure fluid/gas systems
• Tube fitting & bending, familiar with common industry fittings systems
• Liquid Oxygen (LOX) & Cryogenics handling and systems maintenance
• Gaseous Oxygen (GOX) and Nitrous Oxide (N2O) handling and systems maintenance
• Willingness to work overtime, or weekends to support critical mission milestones
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
