Senior Product Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the product security vision for LMArena across the product lifecycle.
• Design platform-wide security features (Sybil resistance, bot detection, anti-abuse).
• Lead threat modeling and security architecture reviews for new and existing features.
• Design secure APIs, data flows, and identity systems with infra and product teams.
• Build secure-by-default frameworks and tooling for internal teams.
• Partner with incident response to assess and remediate security events.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in software or security engineering with staff-level scope.
• Proven track record detecting and mitigating adversarial behavior (bots).
• Threat modeling, secure architecture, risk assessment.
• Hands-on security features in production at scale.
• Backend development: Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or Go; cross-stack.
• Distributed systems security, identity/auth, and strong communication.
