Senior Product Manager - Ledger

📋 Description

• Own the Ledger roadmap for Mercury's Double Entry Ledger.
• Drive ledger adoption with payment rails; ensure scalable event-to-ledger integration.
• Build next-gen financial infrastructure: COA, transfer codes, GL mappings.
• Partner with Finance to translate accounting needs into product architecture and regulatory reporting.
• Set financial data standards; ensure ledger accuracy and traceability.
• Coordinate with banking, payments, Finance, Compliance, and Risk teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years PM in fintech/financial services or platform roles.
• Technical fluency with event-sourced architectures, data models, and pipelines.
• Background in accounting/finance/banking ops: COA, GL mapping, reconciliation.
• Experience building and scaling internal platform products with broad adoption.
• Structured, data-driven decision making; model second/third-order effects and tradeoffs.
• Exceptional cross-functional communication with accountants, engineers, compliance, and regulators.
