Senior Product Manager - Hybrid Control Plane for Observability & Management

📋 Description

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap, driving adoption and customer success
• Lead USM as the cloud-native management and observability surface for Confluent Platform
• Drive the Control Center roadmap, balancing maintenance with migration toward USM
• Own observability for self-managed Confluent, including metrics integration with third-party monitoring systems (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus)
• Collaborate with engineering, design, field, and support to reduce operational burden for customers
• Measure and report on product adoption, customer satisfaction, and business impact

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with enterprise observability and ops tooling; familiarity with Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus
• Understand enterprise platform management: deployment lifecycle, health monitoring, alerting, governance
• Strong UX sensibility for enterprise operations interfaces: dashboards, CLIs, APIs
• Experience with distributed systems and their operational challenges
• Navigate complex enterprise software ecosystems — on-prem, private cloud, and hybrid vs SaaS
• 5–8+ years in product management, esp. infra or observability domains
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for vision and documentation
• Ability to drive business outcomes through product decisions
