Senior Product Designer, Design Systems

📋 Description

• Own component libraries, variables, and styles for Sentry's design language.
• Partner with design engineers to spec new components and refine existing ones.
• Audit patterns and drive consolidation; define clear guidance for usage.
• Create and maintain documentation and Storybook stories for the system.
• Build shared tools like lint rules and templates to scale consistency.
• Advocate for the design system across product teams and coach on best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years designing complex software products in a design systems team.
• Deep fluency with Figma DS tooling: components, variants, variables, auto layout.
• Strong visual and interaction design with good spacing and hierarchy.
• Experience collaborating with frontend engineers on component implementation.
• Comfortable creating/maintaining design docs, usage guidelines, and contribution processes.
• Balance long-term system thinking with tight product timelines.
