Senior Procurement Specialist

📋 Description

• Source and manage COTS mechanical hardware and raw materials.
• Leverage Misumi catalogs and identify OEMs in Guangdong.
• Decide between catalog vs direct OEM sourcing by cost, lead time, and risk.
• Build and maintain a diversified supplier base to reduce single-source risk.
• Own end-to-end procurement: RFQs, cost analysis, negotiation, PO, delivery.
• Negotiate terms including MOQ, lead time, payment terms, and capacity commitments.
• Travel 0–10% for local supplier visits in Guangdong.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on procurement or sourcing experience supporting manufacturing.
• Direct experience sourcing off-the-shelf mechanical hardware.
• Strong understanding of Guangdong supplier ecosystems.
• Proven negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and drive outcomes.
• Existing supplier network in South China preferred.
